Cyprus Family Planning Association (CFPA)
The Cyprus Family Planning Association (CFPA) was founded in 1971 and is the leading organization on Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights(SRHR) in Cyprus. CFPA is a fully accredited member of International Planned Parenthood Federation- European Network (IPPF-EN). CFPA’s vision is a world where sexuality is expressed and enjoyed in freedom, equality, respect and love. Comprehensive Sexuality Education and advocacy are the main priorities of the organization. CFPA plans, implements and evaluates sexuality educational programs targeted to children and young people, professionals, parents and other professionals. CFPA publishes accurate information and educational material on issues related to sexuality. The Association as an advocate in the field of SRHR has contributed to the amendments of a number of laws including the abortion law, and is a very active member in a number of National Committees and consultative bodies in the country through which it influences national policies and strategies on SRHR issues. CFPA has establishe the fist structure in Cyprus which provides psychological support and therapy to adults who have been sexually abused during their childhood.
AIDS Solidarity Movement - Cyprus
The AIDS Solidarity Movement (the Movement) was established in 1989, in the Republic of Cyprus, as a Non-for-Profit and Non-Governmental Organisation. The Movement provides support to people diagnosed and/or affected by HIV/AIDS through a psychosocial support programme, running in and out of the State HIV Reference Clinic, working closely with Doctors, Nurses and other Health Professionals related to the HIV/AIDS Program in the Republic of Cyprus. The Movement established a Community-Based Voluntary Counseling and Testing (CBVCT) HIV/STIs Testing Centre in 2015, the Cy Checkpoint, which provides free, anonymous and rapid HIV/STIs testing, pre-and post-test counselling, promotes Combination Prevention via dissemination of free condom and lubricants, and knowledge dissemination on PEP and PrEP, in a safe and non-judgemental environment. Through our diverse group of Community Health Workers (CHW) Cy Checkpoint offers services to marginalised groups and populations, such as Gay, Bisexual, Queer and other Men who have Sex with Men (GBQMSM), Sex workers, Migrants, Refugees, Asylum Seekers, Trans and other LGBTQI+ people, as well as to the wider population. The Movement advocates for the rights of People Living with HIV (PLWH) and works towards raising public awareness around sexual health and human rights, in an effort to eliminate discrimination and stigma, both in Cyprus and abroad.

We are a registered NGO aiming to promote and support respect for human rights regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity and expresseion, sex characteristics, colour, ethnicity, religion, age, disability or any other trait. We fight for acceptance, self-acceptance, equality, equity, and simultaneously harmonizing on an equal basis the Cypriot society with issues concerning the LGBTQI community.Our vision is a society that ensures that no person is discriminated based upon their sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, and sex characteristics. We envision a safe, diverse, inclusive and intersectional environment that will result in freedom and equality for all with respect to human rights.

The University of Nicosia Research Foundation (UNRF) is an autonomous, non-profit research organization based in Cyprus, closely affiliated with the University of Nicosia.
